When we were little, one of my brother's friends went around buying people's souls for $5 each. He made them sign a contract. Everyone laughed and took the money, except my brother. He's an athiest, but he didn't want to be kicking himself for all of eternity just for $5 if he was wrong. Many years later, after moving to another town, they ran into each other again. He's since become a born-again Christian and was in the process of tracking down every person whose soul he'd bought so that he could return it to him.
